about us

Our farm was established in 2020, at the high point of the pandemic. Our reason? The shelves at our local grocery store were empty. What was left behind we like to describe as “sad” food. Wilted herbs, bruised produce, seasoned meats and of course a whole lot of processed foods, most of which Tawney has problems with. Before starting the farm Tawney liked to describe herself as a borderline vegetarian. Since starting the farm and raising our own food, we decided to share the fruits of our labors. There is absolutely nothing like fresh farm raised food. We raise our animals in a natural environment, so they get to be animals, we don’t use hormones, we don’t inject the meat with anything. We went from world travelers to growing and raising food for our family and the community in the blink of an eye.

What We Do

  • Fresh Roasted Coffee

Our small batch specialty coffee is the perfect start to any day. What started as a way to keep us going on the farm has turned into one of our newest specialty items, and is now available by the cup and the bag.

  • Forest Raised Meats

Goat, Lamb, and coming soon, Beef. Our heritage breed animals are raised in the back woods of our house.

  • Goats On The GO®

Our goats love your brush and weeds, especially poison ivy. For more information or to schedule a site visit, click here.

  • Orchard Raised Poultry

Our poultry lives in our fruit orchard, we struggled to grow fruit on our trees until we decided to use the area for our meat birds. Our Cornish Cross are forced to get exercise daily resulting in a healthy life for the chickens, and a juicy meat for you.

  • Pork

We raise both Red Wattle and Mangalitsa pigs. The major difference between the two pigs is the time they need to grow. Our Red Wattles take about 6 months, while the Mangalitsa takes 12-18 months. Mangalitsa pigs are also known as the lard pig, they are a chefs dream.

  • Papa Willie's Produce

Papa Willie is Chris’ father, he loves his garden and takes amazing care of the produce grown each year. All proceeds from the sale of the produce go to improving his garden.
